Where to watch the 4th of July 2024 Fireworks in Las Vegas?
Independance Day

On July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, the American colonies officially seceded from Great Britain. After an 8-year war (1775-1783), they officially obtained their independence during the Treaty of Paris on September 3, 1783, thus giving birth to a new nation: the United States of America.
Since then, July 4 has been celebrated as the Independence Day of the United States of America, giving rise to parades, celebrations and fireworks across the country. If you are in Las Vegas, you will be able to enjoy the numerous fireworks displays that will be launched throughout the valley, starting July 2, 2024.

Below we have put together a list of places where you can watch the Las Vegas fireworks from July 2 to 4, 2024:

1.Tuesday July 2, 2024:

Summerlin
After the Baseball game between the Las Vegas Aviators and the Oklahoma City Baseball Team, at the Las Vegas Ballpark, fireworks will be set off (game starts at 6:05 p.m.).

Ticket prices to see the match start at $19.

2. Wednesday July 3, 2024:

Summerlin
After the Baseball game between the Las Vegas Aviators and the Oklahoma City Baseball Team, at the Las Vegas Ballpark, fireworks will be set off (game starts at 6:05 p.m.).

Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts the annual “Night of Fire” with NASCAR short track racing at 5 p.m., followed by fireworks at dusk. General admission tickets cost $15. Children 12 and under enter free.

Cowabunga Canyon

Like every year, Cowabunga Canyon water park will celebrate Independence Day with its “Red, White & Kaboom” event. There will be different activities starting at 1 p.m. and fireworks will be launched at 8:50 p.m. The entry price is $49.99.

3. Thursday July 4, 2024:

Las Vegas Strip

This year, Caesars Palace will host the only fireworks show on the Strip. Fortunately, it has a central location and should be easy to see from up and down Las Vegas Boulevard. The best viewing points will be at the fountains, Roman Square and Spanish Steps outside the resort's front door, as well as the LINQ Promenade across the street. The fireworks are set to go off from the roof of the Julius Tower at 9 p.m.

Fremont Street
The Plaza Hotel is hosting a fireworks display at 9 p.m. launched from several areas of the hotel which promises to be spectacular and visible for miles. A pool party for hotel guests will take place on the Rooftop, with barbecue, cocktails and entertainment by a DJ. Main Street will be closed to vehicles from Carson Avenue to Ogden Avenue from 8:45 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.

Good to know: From May 24 to August 30, 2024, The Plaza Hotel & Casino will celebrate the start of each summer weekend with a fireworks display every Friday evening at 9:15 p.m. Inspired by the fireworks at Disneyland, the fireworks will light up the sky above downtown Las Vegas.

Red Rock Casino
Located in the west of the city, like every year Red Rock Casinos will launch a spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m.
A pool party to see the fires is open from 7:30 p.m. at the hotel's main swimming pool. Prices start at $10 for children aged 2 to 11 and $35 for people aged 12 and over.

Green Valley Ranch Resort
Located south of the city, like every year Green Valley Ranch Resort will also launch a spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m. A pool party to see the fires is open from 7:30 p.m. at the hotel's main swimming pool. Prices start at $10 for children aged 2 to 11 and $35 for people aged 12 and over.

Durango Casino & Resort
Station Casinos newest resort will hold its first fireworks viewing show from the Bel-Aire Backyard lawn. There will be a live DJ and light-up necklaces. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m. The cost is $35 for guests 12 and up. For children from 2 to 11 years old, it’s $10.

Lake Las Vegas

Located 30 minutes southeast of the Strip, Lake Las Vegas will organize its traditional fireworks at 9 p.m. accompanied by numerous activities for families.

Boulder City
Boulder City is once again hosting a full day of activities that begin at 7 a.m. with breakfast at Bicentennial Park, followed by a jet flyover and parade through downtown at 9 a.m. Additional festivities will take place at Veterans Memorial Park at 4 p.m. A fireworks display takes place at 9 p.m.

Parking costs $20 per car.

M Resort
M Resort will have its annual fireworks display at 9 p.m. The best view is from the hotel swimming pool. Admission is $30 (or $10 for children 10 and under) with a concert at 7:45 p.m. from Cover Lane.

Heritage Park
This year Heritage Park is celebrating the Fourth of July with a free evening of country music at 7:30 p.m., followed by a holiday fireworks display at 9 p.m.

Buckskin Basin Park

This year the City of Las Vegas is organizing "the Blast off in the Basin" at Bucksin Basin Park at 7 p.m. with fireworks, DJ and food truck.

5. Can you set off your own fireworks in Las Vegas?

This happens every year with countless fireworks displays from parks, streets and homes throughout the valley. It's quite a sight, especially if you're watching from a high vantage point or arriving at the airport at that time. And it can last a long time.

6. Traffic forecast for the week of July 4

You should expect much heavier traffic on the I15 southbound as Southern Californians return home. July 6 will see slightly heavier traffic than normal. Then, between 11 a.m. and 5 a.m. on July 7, the heaviest traffic congestion is expected on the I15 heading toward the state line, according to the RTC.

RTC recommends that drivers sign up for RTC travel alerts and use navigation apps to learn the latest travel conditions before beginning their trip.
